motivation

today i studied part of my chpt 11 on motivation and im jus abt to die.
i learnt abt motivation theories..
surprisingly thr's 2.
content and process..
in content theories, it speaks of what motivates ppl.
we have Maslow with his hierachy, Herzberg with his 2 factor ( motivator and hygiene factors), McClleland with his need theory of affiliation, power and achievement.
in process theories, it speaks of how to motivate ppl.
we have Vroom's expectancy theory following the theory F = V x E, equity theory based on ppl's expected outcome in exchange for their input. last but not least with Handy's calculus E FACTORS.
also noting that there are implications of the expectancy theory..
i'd b looking at the job as the motivator with grandpa Herzberg and his job design theory once again..
